Hotel Hacienda Sueño Azul has created a variety of activities for the enjoyment of our guests considering the security like the number one priority. "ADVENTURE WITH SAFETY" We invite you to enjoy all of these activities and appreciate the contact with nature in a safe way. We invite you to the adventure!For the benefit of our guests, Sueño Azul offers a wide variety of activities within the property. Our Favorites: • Tubing: The calm journey begins 3kms up river from the Hotel (River San Rafael) and it ends at the hotel. The use of life vest and helmet are strict requirements. Duration: 60 minutes • Canopy: We have 13 platforms and 8 cables with distances between 24meters 244 meters and heights between 6 and 30 meter. Duration: 60-120 minutes depending on the size of the group. • Butterfly Garden: Our marvelous live collection will teach you the various states of a butterfly in their natural envoronment. Duration: 30 minutes (Explanation of the butterfly life process). • Trail in the forest: The walk is a short and interesting journey trough the forest. It takes approximately 30 minutes. Easy access for senior visitors. • Natural Ponds in the Waterfall: The "Malatoba" creek born in the heart of the Braulio Carrillo National Park offers us refreshing ponds formed by the smashing of the water trough many years. • Rodeo a la Tica: Enjoy the Traditional Equestrian Games , the Native Dances, the music and the demonstration of Paso Tico horses. The public can join the show and add an extra spice to your vacation. • Botanical Garden: It is a small paradise of Medicinal Plants, a Natural Pharmacy that offers us a magic story. The Botanical Garden tour is a relaxing interactive walk where you will learn some of the knowledge that we inherited of our ancestors. • Museum of Legends and Costarricense History: A small house opens its doors to the history of Costa Rica and illustrates us its marvelous legends that were told by our grandparents. Enjoy an amusing journey trough our small Museum of Costa Rican Legends. • Tours and Activities in the surroundings: Sarapiquí is a zone blessed by nature with much to offer. We invited you to get to know more of this beautiful destination. All our recommendations are less than 30 minutes away. • Rafting/ Sarapiquí River: Levels II, III and IV. • Boat rides in Rio Sarapiqui: A calm journey trough the Sarapiqui River where you will be able to observe the wild life and fauna. • Visit to the Biological Station The Forest: Walk in primary forest where your tour guides and biologists will make your experience in the forest a moment worthy of remembering. • Tour of Chocolate: The tour takes 3 hours, and it also includes a walk in the primary forest and in the plantations of Cocoa where the process of manufacturing chocolate is explained, and you can even make your own chocolate. • Pineapple Tour in Corsicana Property: Guided visit to the plantations of pineapple where you will learn the production process to export the fruit. • Visit to the Snake Farm: Admire and learn about serpents native to Costa Rica. • Walks in the Tirimbina: Enjoy the hanging bridges in the rainy forest. • Walks in the Biological Station The OET Forest |
